It’s my first year with a greenhouse growing veggies. Everything is doing well (touch wood) but where have I gone wrong with my radishes?!

Too many too close together maybe? You have to learn to murder your darlings and thin out seedlings.
I’ve never grown them in a greenhouse. It sounds more trouble than it’s worth. Did you water them enough?

Not enough water. If there isn’t enough water, instead of building up an energy store(radish) to get them through the winter, they cut their losses and flower and seed this year.

That’s great advice, thanks to you both. Yes, definitely more trouble than they’re worth!

No!!! If you can get them to work, they’re superb! They have a taste - unlike the supermarket ones which are just water with a hint of hotness. Well worth the effort.

Yes, they’re good. I just meant growing them in a greenhouse seemed to involve a lot of effort in terms of watering. I had some by mid May outdoors this year.

If radishes are grown in hot weather (and presumably a greenhouse) they become very hot rather than the more subtle taste that supermarket ones have. They grow outside really easily and can be planted from early spring (with a bit of cover during frost) until late summer. There is still time for several sowings outdoors as they grow quickly.
