Looks like ludwigia palustris

Staynow · 12/05/2022 16:51

Looks like St John's Wort to me.

JeanGabin · 12/05/2022 16:58

Agree St John's Wort (hypericum)

AncientAzalea · 12/05/2022 17:00

Just googled and don't think it's either of those but thank you.

It's sort of a trailing plant.

Mosaic123 · 12/05/2022 23:07

Some kind of fushia?

rainbowunicorn · 13/05/2022 13:42

Lysimachia

AncientAzalea · 13/05/2022 15:00

None of these are right from what I can tell. Will post again when it flowers! Thank you all.

It looks like a self sown Mimulus. Sometimes they can last through the winter, if sheltered.

WitchDancer · 13/05/2022 16:35

It looks like a fushia to me

CorsicaDreaming · 14/05/2022 10:21

Could it be a type of honeysuckle?

Beebumble2 · 14/05/2022 10:31

A fuchsia doesn’t have yellow flowers.

colouringindoors · 14/05/2022 14:32

Lloks a bit like a Japanese honeysuckle.

Are the flowers like this:

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 14/05/2022 21:15

I also thought honeysuckle

adhdpunchbag · 15/05/2022 07:32

@rainbowunicorn has it. Lysimachia congestiflora.

WildGeece · 15/05/2022 07:36

It's a hypericum of some description, e.g.www.thompson-morgan.com/p/hypericum-orange-flair/45050TM

adhdpunchbag · 15/05/2022 21:32

Hypericums have much larger leaves which are much more shrub like that the soft leaves in the photo. The stems are woody too. Lysimachia.

Monty27 · 15/05/2022 21:36

Might it be a Potintella?

AncientAzalea · 15/05/2022 22:10

Not honeysuckle. I love the one I have in my garden! I'm checking each suggestion so thank you x

They don’t call it yellow loosestrife for nothing. Tough as old boots and quite invasive. It will take over a flower bed.

It's been pretty well behaved so far! Three years in there I think and it's stuck to its corner!
