Nope not allowed too - renter.

No wish I could but it's in my tenancy agreement that we must mow the lawn and the lettings agency do regular inspections. We do still get dandelions and daisies on the lawn though they just flower low down. I also grow lots of wildflowers in containers. And my allotment has a wild patch at the back with brambles, nettles, piles of sticks from cutting the fruit trees, along with a wildlife pond. Although as that's also rented I can't let it look too wild, but I try where I can. Maybe a campaign to encourage landlords to be more wildlife friendly is needed, they are the ones with the control.

Not for me, too much hard work to get it back to a decent state after a month and also neighbourhood cats will be pooping. Saying that I have a tree that has nesting birds and I have stayed well clear of that and the area around it. There are lots of dandelions and wild flowers for the bees and insects to enjoy.

I do cut the grass every couple of weeks but I’ve just over sewn it as it’s about 80% dandelions now so may well leave it for May.
We have an area behind some large trees that have wood/sticks etc and we let that do whatever it chooses.
I have wildflowers in pots so I try to do my bit.

I'm leaving the front lawn. That'll please the neighbours!

People with cats pooing on grass… I’ve never had a cat who pooed on grass, they’ve always used the flower beds. Do you not have borders with loose soil ? Just wandering why they would do it. And all our cats have at least attempted to bury it. So grass just wouldn’t work. Or do you think you’re just not finding the ones in the borders ?

Most of the time, my cat trots in from the garden to use his litter tray and then goes straight back out again.

if he does go in the garden, he always goes on the grass. He then spends some time “sweeping” the area. Leaving what look like very basic crop circles where the grass is flattened around the area. Well, it’s either that or aliens are visiting and shitting on my lawn 👽💩
