Plant for 100 year 'birthday'

My granny would have been 100 this year and my mum expressed an interest in a place to mark the 'anniversary'. Ideally I'd like to have the same in my garden.

But I can hardly find anything with 100 or centenary, centennial in the name! Anyone have any ideas? I've looked at rose catalogues and amazingly drawing a blank.

We're both on clay and don't really want a tree.

Croton MagnifiCENT

Okay, I admit it's a bit of a stretch!

What about this rose - if you're a fan of pink!

There's a daffodil called Centenary Gold - I think it might be a Cornish daffodil if that's of any relevance. But don't quote me on that!

There are also tulips called “royal centennial”. Orange and frilly.
You could probably find dahlias or bearded irises with centennial/century names too, there are so many different varieties.

There’s this bearded iris, Century Bound
