I just realised I put dog worming tablet in my compost bin - that's full of worms. He wouldn't take the tablet, I kept trying different means of disguising it in various foods - he was having none of it so i gave up and the sloppy mixture went in the food waste, and then outside to the compost bin.

Nothing anyone can do here to help I realise. I'm going to have to try and fish it all out aren't I? 🤢 😪

I'd fish it all out just to be on the safe side. They are small invertebrates and even if the medication is intended to kill something else, it isn't exactly going to do them any good.

I've scooped as much as I could - blended bread, dog meat, ham, water and worming tablet. YUK.

Dog meat, ham, shouldn't be going on a compost heap. There is unlikely to be enough heat to destroy harmful bacteria, and it can attract vermin

It's not a heap, it's a bin. And I don't usually put meat in it (the dog eats it.)

Different worms. Earthworms and compost worms are Annelids, tapeworms are Platyhelminths, roundworms are Nematodes. But you can’t guarantee that it wont also kill earthworms or, for that matter, other useful invertebrates.
