Have I planted too early?

Got over excited and planted all my seeds like an amateur and my runners, courgettes tomato's and peppers have all sprouted and doing well in the kitchen.

My friend said it's far too early - and they will grow too big.

Any advice?

So long as you can keep them warm, watered and fed, with plenty of sun light it's never too early. Depending on the size of pot they are in now, runners will need moving on soon, they are hungry plants and will use up any compost/soil they germinated in.

Thanks @Ifailed that's helpful. I can keep them in my kitchen diner which is like a greenhouse sunny and warm! Yes they're quite big already!

One thing to remember, if you are going to grow them outside, you need to think about 'hardening them off'. Basically this means exposing them to gently breeze to toughen the stems up, otherwise they'll just collapse under their own weight.
Best to do this on a warm day (doesn't need full sun light), somewhere protected so they can slowly get stronger. Always bring them in when the temperature drops or the wind picks up.

As long as you have space tp keep them indoors or undercover for another month or so you'll be fine. I wish I'd have got mine done a bit sooner.
