I'm having separation anxiety from my seedlings!

(Lighthearted!) I'm parked up outside my son's workplace, waiting for him to finish so we can travel home together. I'm itching for him to finish so I can get home to check on my babies' progress 🌱 Also excited about having an annual leave day tomorrow to potter about with plants.

Anyone else just enjoying immersing yourselves in the absolute joy of the garden jobs in Spring?

I moved house a few months ago and I don’t have a greenhouse at the new house (yet! Working on it) so delighted with the gorgeous weather today. Lots of lovely flower seedlings starting to pop their heads up.

I also put in some early spring bulbs very, very late and they’re coming up now too so plenty of daffodils and croci to keep me going for a while.

l am having withdrawal symptons this year from not actually planting anything, normally l have so much going on plant wise.
But l am awaiting some plug plants to arrive in April, and then my living room will no longer be bereft of my rickerty old decorating table pressed up to the bay window filled with pots. (Make shift greenhouse)
l can' t wait.

Rubbish day today but I did another tray of cosmos (sweet kisses this time) and some Bishops Children.

Rapidly running out of space to keep them though.

Ooh I have seed envy reading all your lovely posts. I'm away for a month so can't plant until I am back. We did get a Sarah Raven voucher for Christmas so I have just spent a happy couple of hours choosing veg and cut flower seeds. All things that can be planted late March/April onwards so I hope I can catch up.

Heh, the only plant he savages is my poor nepeta. I've had to get mine a pop up tent to give it a chance to get above ground.

Otherwise, if it can't bleed, he's not interested.

He have seven shishito peppers (like padron peppers but Japanese) up, that was our best crop last year, and I can't wait for the first harvest.
