Is there anything that will glue a broken terracotta pot together?

Enjoyed the sunshine today and spend some time sorting through my enormous collection of broken terracotta pots. I lost some in storm Eunice when my mini greenhouse blew over and others that cracked and broke due to frost.

I'm keeping the small bits as crocks, the rest of the cheap broken ones will go to the dump.

But I've got a couple of thicker, more treasured pots (which were gifts, or more unusual) that are broken into like 2 or 3 pieces. Is there anything that will glue them back together? I'm not planning to actually plant anything in them but maybe keep them as an aesthetically pleasing outer pot and put annuals in plastic pots inside them purely for display.

Am I living in La La land with this idea?

I have a lovely one that has cracked in half so I'm posting for info!

It used to belong to my mum who died a few years ago so I would love to salvage it somehow.

This has good reviews for fixing pots

I've used Gorilla glue to glue pots back together.
Seemed to work, they're still in one piece 2yrs on!

I've used the milliput stuff linked above and it worked brilliantly. I still plant in the terracotta pot I put back together and it's survived frost since I fixed it. I used sandpaper to smooth the excess on the outside after it cured. The fractures are still visible if you look closely but it adds to the charm.

I've not tried gluing back together but I lay them on their side in the boarders with annual planted so it looks like they're spilling out of the pot. a bit like this

I did belt and braces: milliput (as above) and a jubilee clip. It's lasted five years and counting.Smile
