Grow your own wedding flowers?

Is this an insane idea?? Has anyone done this?
Have quite a lot of room. Would need to be ready early August. Not fussy on what but very happy to have suggestions and/or be told I'm mad!!

Chief bridesmaid has form for cut flower growing so she'll definitely be roped in, and I like the idea of doing a mix as a few have suggested, to take the pressure off.
I do have a history of biting off more than I can chew though so I am going to have a serious think, research before committing, and have plan B lined up. Definitely don't want to be in a huge stress about it.
Whatever happens I will keep everyone posted! And please keep the tips, suggestions coming! So nice to hear everyone's experiences and insights.
