Can anyone tell me if there is such thing as a house plant that will survive in a hallway where there is no direct sunlight please?

I have a snake plant in a spot like this, it’s grown slightly slower than another one in a lighter spot but it’s happy enough.

You could always rotate plants, so they each get a turn in the sun.

If you want a climber, I have a philodendron which is doing well despite very little light.

A prayer plant would work. Its a calathea.

Aspidistra, sometimes called the Cast-iron plant for good reason! The Victorians loved it for surviving dark, cold rooms and being pretty indestructible. Can be expensive though.

Second a peace lily, we got given one and I have killed every plant apart from the peace lily and some orchids. The peace lily is in a fairly dark corner and only gets watered when I remember so they seem hardy.

Christmas Cactus do well out of sunlight, as their natural home is the forest floor. Don’t by fooled by their name they can flower at random times of the year. Mine live on a North facing window sill and in the downstairs WC which is East facing, but looking out on a wall.
