I don't know what would be considered reasonable here, so I'd appreciate thoughts from any gardeners who have moved house. While I'm planning on leaving all plants in the ground, and taking the pots, I'm unsure about supports that don't currently have growth iyswim. So the dahlia support that is currently outside (so I know where it'll be) but isn't currently actually supporting anything... I'm assuming I can take that with me with no drama.
What about supports around climbers, or shrubs that are sort of climbers, like jasmine? It's the wrong time of year to prune it down and lift away the support, and I think I need to leave it in situ. I have one jasmine that is thorough entwined in trellis and that needs to stay where it is, but the other is more of a shrub that I have partially trained into a support.
Future owners are novice keen gardeners so i don't want to ruin the plants, but equally I know design/taste is personal. And thoughts welcome!
