It's about 5 foot high, has these pretty flowers in spring. If you do know what it is can you tell me if it gets big please? I want big bushy things to provide screening as I'm very overlooked.
This is at the front but would like to move it to the back. Thank you!

I think it’s a daphne of some sort, but I’m no expert. We have something similar but very old, the flowers smell beautiful. It’s evergreen and quite dense and bushy, about 12ft high and maybe 10ft wide.

DH says Daphne.

Trying to work out if it's a daphne, or maybe viburnum bodnantense Dawn.

Daphne rather than Viburnum - the leaves and stems of daphne are waxy/shiny like your plant.. It doesn’t get very tall, maybe about 4ft, and they tend to be a bit bushier than yours but they are not very tidy growers. Smell divine in spring.

Thanks everyone! I'll leave it where it is then!

@Purplewithred thank you - I was never sure of the difference before!

Not Viburnum. It has 4 petals, like Daphne, not 5 like Viburnum.

Agree with everyone else that it’s a daphne.

Don’t move it-you will probably kill it. Daphne do not like to be moved or pruned.
