Autumn in a greenhouse

Hi all we got a large walk in greenhouse about 6 months ago and it's been great over the spring and summer but what do I do for autumn and winter please?

Will things still grow in it? What sort of things? I prefer to grow things we can eat.

I remember around Feb time planting snow peas and broas beans in there but I'm thinking more of now?

I have courgettes growing really well outside will they need to be moved into the greenhouse soon?

Thanks!

A lot of things are affected as much by lower light levels as by-lower temperatures, so I wouldn’t expect the courgettes to go on much longer. It astonished me quite how slow growing things are in Dec and Jan. Bit late to sow, but you might get away with it in the south - japanese greens of various types and other salady things. Other salad stuff that you planted earlier will keep going. Oka don’t start producing tubers till November, so they’ll want to move back into the greenhouse. Some broad beans can be sown in autumn.

This is also my first year with a greenhouse and I'm planning to use it over the autumn & winter for over-wintering geraniums and other tender plants. And then before you know it it will be time to start off spring seedlings (we are both so looking forward to not having them all over the workbench in DH's workshop!)
