Patching up an old fence

Our fence would have looked something like picture 1 when new, but is now more like picture 2. Most of it is reasonable, but there's a small section that's almost collapsed.

I'm looking for a cheap, temporary solution. I was thinking about something that could be attached to the fence. I saw this mentioned in another post.

I'm just looking for ideas as I can't really afford to replace it all right now.

Bit of stain on them & they will last years longer than the netting Smile

I actually just looked up if an old house we lived in had re sold because we had that exact same fence in that exact same colour! We bought the palisade fence from wickes, DH hammered it together, I painted every one. 3 bloomin coats each-took forever! I was even painting them New Year’s Day in the freezing cold then I had the idea to take them inside because, I thought, “ I’m really careful, it won’t be messy”. I only kicked the tin of stain and sloshed half a tin all over the floor. I was scooping it back in the tin quickly with my bare hands lol

I once managed to spill white gloss paint all over the front room carpet by kicking the tin! Shock I feel your pain!
