Could do with opinions on new bed

I’ve just planted a new corner bed 3 x 4m and about 1.5m deep. I’m a very novice gardener but tried to do a bit of research about what I should put in it but, got a bit overwhelmed and ended up not really sticking to any plan!

Now that all the money is spent and the plants are in I feel a bit like I’m waiting for exam results! I have garden fear that it’ll all look a mess!

Would really appreciate opinions of whether you think this list of plants go together or will clash, or whether I’ve got too many...

Shrubs:
Climbing hydrangea on one fence
Passion flower on other (clash?!)
Laurel (random older plant)
Dwarf cherry bush (random older plant and not v healthy)
Mexican orange blossom
Peony (white)
Eunonymus japonica
Syringea mme lemonie (white)
Cysistis burkwoodii (started my fear as now read this is horribly invasive) - yellow
Spirea (pink)

Perennials:
Lavatera (light pink)
Achillea (cerise)
Verbena (purple)
Chrysanthemum Bebbie (pink)
Cosmos (pink and yellow)
Phlox

I could dig some out of the plants out and rehome if there are some clangers in there. Or should I just wait and see what happens....Confused

It’ll be fab. Maybe put some mulch down to deter weeds till stuff grows a bit bigger.

The beauty of everything you’ve planted is that if anything really clashes you can move it round or plant something in between to soften the clash.

The cystistis. Is invasive in the states.

Thanks....I’ll see if I can get some mulch (is that like bark chippings?). Glad that the cystitis thing should be ok!

A lot of gardening is waiting to see what happens. If a few things really don't look right you can move them. Some of what you planted might not take so you might find you have gaps. And everything grows at different speeds. Some people will tell you that there are lots of 'rules' but I say if you makes you smile and the plants are healthy then crack on.
