I have a fig plant / bush. I don't want it to grow much taller but don't know how to prune it. What do I do with the seed things? I am a bit clueless about it! Thanks in advance

That is very definitely not a fig. If it were a fig, it would have figs on it, not those bunches of berries.

I think it’s a Fatshedera, a hybrid between a Fatsia and ivy (Hedera).

I’ve never grown one so can’t help with pruning.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon but that doesn't look like a fig. And the berries look like the berries on my ivy!

Oops crossed with @MereDintofPandiculation who is indeed more knowledgeable!

It looks like my Fatsia, which can be pruned in mid to late spring and will re-grow new shoots. I'd give it a prune now.

Thanks! I thought it was a fig Blush I googled fatsia and I can see it now! Do I cut the seed things off now then?

Yeah, PP are right, it is Fatsia - Fatshedera leaves are closer to the Hedera parent than the Fatsia.

You can, and you can reduce branches too.
