Is there any chance there are not weeds?

I recall scattering some seeds a friend sent me + some foxglove seeds.

I fear the bigger ones are those horrible furry- feeling weeds with the blue flowers though.

Anyone have any idea?

Pentaglottis, not Pentaglossis - typo, sorry, it is late and brain is not functioning correctly!

I don't get the alkanet hatred either. It's in flower when not a lot else is. In my garden it seeds around but I'm not overwhelmed with the stuff. I have got a monstrous huge one at the moment well over a metre in diameter. That will come out soon to stop it setting seed but just now it's feeding bees and looking quite pretty behind the forget me nots so it can have a few more days

We get a lot of purple toadflax in the garden - not very elegant, but rugged and can be hacked back. It's always covered in bees, and one of my DH's favourites

Here are my baby foxgloves as promised

The last are poppies. I've been letting them self seed around my house. 1 day of huge, blowsy poppy every year.

I spent most of this morning pulling up 10 sq m of the stuff in my garden, after leaving it for the bees as long as I could. Really deep roots, irritating/stingy leaves, seeds that go everywhere... no thanks.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan..sigh..was hoping they might be FG's.

Thanks for the pics @Mykittensmittens

Do they feel soft to the touch or are they harsh? If soft, give them a few weeks reprieve before throwing them out.
