seedling help!

I've planted a large number of seeds in module trays which have all germinated fine ( apart from my Sarah Raven Cosmos sulphureus which I've sown twice with not a sign of anything). However I've realised there's not really enough space or light for them all to do well. Tomatoes and broad beans are fine, kale OK but very small, leeks spindly and floppy, as are my iceland poppies and salvia fulgens. Other cosmos are growing quickly but getting leggier by the day.

So - would chucking them all out into a cold frame help? It's in the sunniest part of the garden and I'm in the SW. I am desperate to save them as I've been nurturing them like offspring for weeks.

Sorry - should have said - they're all inside at the moment on a west facing windowsill

My seedlings are in an unheated greenhouse, which reaches 32 degrees in the day when it’s sunny.
It will be night frosts that could cause the problems . You could wrap the cold frame in bubble wrap at night if there’s going to be a frost.
By the way, I’ve also had fails with Sarah Raven seeds, I get the best results from Wilkos cheapies!

Bored beans are hardy so they could spend a few days in the cold frame and then go out out. Leeks could go to the cold frame if they're up.

Tomatoes maybe not yet. Kale could go out too, as long as the cold frame isn't sluggy.

No idea about iceland poppies -but they should hardy!

Cosmos- bane of my life I can't get mine to germinate at all.

Can you put them out for day trips, and bring them in overnight?

I also struggle with cosmos. Every one comes up wearing its seed case as a hat which then causes the first leaves to contort. I have been trying to spray the seed cases with water to soften them so the plant can get out, but OMG, is it really worth the time and effort? Mine are Sarah Raven and she grows hundreds of them apparently. Can't believe she sprays then picks at every seed case!
I have just been re planting leggy seedlings more deeply. There are some You Tube tutorials on how to save them when they are leggy. Who knew?

jane would planting the seeds a bit deeper, or covering with a layer of grit, help? Give something to push the seed case off as the seedling pushes upwards?
