Potted Yoshino Cherry

It has arrived this evening, I wasn't expecting it until next week.
I can not plant it until tomorrow morning. How and where should I keep it? It's very healthy, and seems watered. I have it inside at the moment, protected from dcat, and youngest ds. My plan is now to plant it tomorrow, after the school run. It'll be fine right?
Also posting this for attention, my children are bored by me talking about planing another tree.
How far from the barren looking back fence should I plant it?

Plot: I'm thinking of placing it midway at the back of the garden

Towards the right there is an old rambling rose that I've cut back since this pic, hoping it'll revive itself, and the neighbours ivy which I've chopped back. To the left is an old shrub, I don't know what that is, I may replace it

It’ll be fine in a pot for a while yet, weeks even, don’t let it sit in water. And put it outside somewhere.

It’s quite a big tree when grown, and is a nice looking full tree, so bring it in a few metres. Think about it when full grown.

Beautiful but big tree. You need to site it at least 2.5 metres from the fence to allow for growth as it will eventually be about 5 x5 metres.

Where did you buy it OP? I'm looking for something similar for my garden

I've planted it, approximately 2 metres from the fence
@XiCi I bought it online from Crocus. I think they're sold out now
