Help needed on garden

Hello, I've recently moved into a new build house and the soil in the back garden is absolutely atrocious. There's no drainage whatsoever and it's like a swamp once it rains.
I know the whole lot will need to be pulled up and better soil put down to be honest.
I'm a bit clueless on landscaping but I found a picture online as to the type of thing I would like done.
Would anyone know approx what I can be expected to pay by hiring a landscape gardener to do this?
Thank you, sorry for being so clueless but my heart is broken with the garden, the dog is ruining the new house because it's so wet and muddy when he comes in.

I found my landscaper through the marshalls paving catalogue.

You just put in your postcode and a list comes up. I went out of my area to get the guy I used. He was brilliant. No one can guess price, but a landscaper will give you a free quote. You don’t have to use Marshall’s pavers.

Have you checked that the garden is up to standard?

You might need to get drainage system installed before you do anything.

It's a bit hard to say how much it will cost without measurements other than thousands. It will also depend on whether you choose to buy mature plants.

You should be able to price up the cost of the materials/plants/soil etc quite easily with measurements for your plot eg a 2.7m square pergola from Wickes is £390. Labour is about £20 per hour. Just laying the patio
and paths is probably about 2-4 man days.

Thank you both for your replies.
I'll definitely give that website link a read and see if someone can come out and assess the garden. I can't even begin to explain just how bad it is!
Thanks again

Definitely worth checking if the company who built your house have a clause in your contract re the garden being usable or something? Can’t see how a bog will grow much! Although tbf we’ve had a fair bit of rain recently!

Some things you can do to improve it yourself in the meantime:
