Ground cove for boggy front yard

Hi, I have a small lawn in my front yard which is almost completely covered by moss (which I seem unable to get rid of). I am thinking of replacing the lawn with a ground cover suitable for poorly drained areas.

I have looked in the RHS website and among the recommendations, I like the small white periwinkle 'Gertrude Jekyll' or Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' golden creeping Jenny.

However, I am a little worried that being ground covers they will spread into my neighbour's garden. We are separated by a low wood fence, not brick. I'd like to know if this is likely to happen.

Many thanks in advance!

Have you thought of turning into a damp-loving flower border instead? You can get beautiful slow growing damp/shade loving plants that spread slowly enough for you to remove them easily, or not at all. Astrantia major 'roma' is sterile so won't spread any seedlings and is beautiful. Alternatively embrace the moss (I love moss so am biased here) and create a Japanese garden with some artfully placed rocks, maybe a small pond?
