I have a Dracaena trifasciata or Snake Plant which is not doing well. In fact I have two as I divided the first one into two pots. Both are drooping. Maybe I should post a picture?

I don't know what to do, any ideas?

Photos always help!

Some possibilities:
Under watering.
Overwatering
Something destroying the roots eg vine weevil type of bugs.

Thank you. I'll post a picture. Let me work out how to do that and I'll get back here pronto.

Please excuse the mess as I'm decorating and there is stuff everywhere!

It is a succulent native to West Africa, and is pretty indestructible, so possibly you have over watered it? While they tolerate low light, they do much better in brightly lit conditions, and require a well drained potting mix. Hard to say what the problem is, but always best to unpot and check the root system, which should be white and fleshy, not brown and soft.

How often have you been watering? I water mine once every 4-6weeks. I have read that overwatering is a sure fire way to kill them.

Thank you to everyone taking the time to answer. I really appreciate it. I water once every couple of months or more. The plants are beside a west facing window so have plenty of sunlight. Have taken a picture of the roots. Some of the shoots or leaves are about 3ft so am wondering if they are just bending because of height and if I should put a rod to support them maybe.

I'd suggest watering a bit more often than once every couple of months, but let the soil dry out between watering. And giving it a bit more light - if a plant is struggling for light, it will concentrate on growing upward to the light rather than strengthening its structure, so growth will be flimsy and liable to flop.
