Please help ID this butterfly and bee magnet so I can....

Plant way more of them!
Just counted 9 bees and 7 butterflies in the space of a minute.

Could it be a Deutsia? (Not sure of the spelling.) it resembles mine, which is also a bee magnet. Mine is a shrub.

It's spelled Deutzia.

@Dilbertian nope I don't think so... but thank you because that has helped me identify another plant in the mature garden we have inherited (and feel pretty clueless about!)

That does look very similar and so I will go with that (I think you have given me names of the same thing). But I can't see any pictures where the leaves match.

Maybe it is just a variety that doesn't come up high in search results?

It is a bush about 6ft tall and 4ft wide... Hmmmmm
