Sedum Autumn Joy

Cuttings question please. Today I’ve taken cuttings from Sedum Autumn Joy and popped them in an unseated propogator on my kitchen windowsill. I know they are really easy to root but what should I do with them over the winter? Should I keep them on my windowsill in my conservatory and plant them out in the spring or put them straight outside when they have rooted? Would they survive the winter? Thanks

I'd do some of each. And/or just lay some stems down on the surface of compost outside, and/or directly onto the soil. I started with one plant some years ago and now have loads, and I'm not very good with cuttings. Most of them were either rooted in a glass of water on the kitchen windowsill or by the laying down method.

Mine are just starting to flower in the sunnier border and there are so many butterflies and bees on them already. They're an absolute must-have plant IMO.Smile
