Can anyone help me identify this please? I'm trying to find out whether it's toxic to dogs.

Many thanks!

Looks like a type of Berberis muddled up with ivy. Berberis berries are not poisonous and people have been known to make jam from them (?!)
The Ivy berries are poisonous, but bitter and would have to be eaten in large quantities.
However, as a general rule I would cut off all the berries in a garden with children. Although it’s best to explain not to eat anything in the garden, it’s difficult when we encourage them to pick home grown veg and fruit.

What Beebumble said - Ivy + something else. Does the branch with the orange berries have spikes on it? They are both very very common plants with high value for wildlife, if they were a known hazard to dogs I would imagine it would be well documented.

Thank you both so much! Super helpful - and reassuring.

If the orange berry bush has spikes on it, it's pyracantha... The berries can be mildly irritant if eaten in large quantities but the spikes are evil. Be careful when pruning it.

Not berberis, wrong sort of berries. Something in the Rose family - probably Pyracantha.

I found it quite easy to tell DD very specifically what she could eat.

As to dogs - I've got loads of ivy and pyracantha, my dog has never tried them afaik. There are specific plants he does eat... 14 and going strong so I have to assume he's got some idea about what not to eat.
