Our lovely old cat Bertie died this week and in a rash moment at the vet's, we decided to have his ashes returned to us.
We're likely to move house in the next couple of years so rather than scatter him in the garden we'd like to put the ashes in a large pot and plant a nice shrub in it, so it's portable.
Can anyone suggest a suitable, hardy and relatively indestructible plant? We're in balmy London and already have various pots in the garden - eg hydrangea, geraniums, rose, yuccas (30 years old!), azalea. Looking for some inspiration....
Thanks!
