Should it let this grow?

Suddenly I have a lot of what I thought was purple clover in my borders and beds. I've looked online and it appears to be Oxalis corniculata (creeping wood sorrel) as it has yellow flowers. I've been hoeing it with other weeds but wondered if I should just let it be as it's quite attractive although it's not really the right colour for my pink and purple beds. I also note it can be quite invasive so I may be better getting rid.

I've never noticed it in the garden before and wonder if it might have come in on the topsoil the the landscapers used when they redid my garden.

I’ve let this grow in all the gaps and cracks in my ancient Brick patio. It looks lovely and has formed a sort of carpet in places along with thyme and aubretia and campanula (the last three I planted in the gaps myself). However it is horribly invasive and has got in to one of the borders. I have to really keep on top of it there or it will take over. So, yes it is lovely but it depends on how much work you want to have to keep it only where you want it.

Ive got a feeling that when its pulled up it kind of "fires" its seed into the air so you end up with way more than you started with. 😡 You can actually feel the seeds firing on your hands when it does it!

It’s dreadfully invasive! I have lots of it, impossible to get rid - roots go quite deep, and any remaining in the soil will sprout again. The seed pods are explosive and shoot seeds all over the place.
I agree, it does look quite pretty, but when it takes over, it’s a PITA!

Yes I’ve got it everywhere, as well. I pull it out when I can be bothered. I can’t remember seeing it at all until recently.

Oh goodness, I think I'll try to keep it at bay then. At the moment I have bare patches but hope that many of my perennials will spread given time, so I can do without it taking over. It's a shame. The foliage is a lovely colour.
