What would you do with my front garden?

I'm fed up of my rubbish grass and cracked path. I want to have it all removed but I don't know what to do with the space.
I will have the wall taken down and rebuilt and a new gate fitted but other than that I have got a clue. Any ideas?

@goingoverground Thank you for posting the beautiful encaustic tile paths. And for introducing me to the rhsblog.

Also thank you to the pps who posted about the gardens on a roll & Wickes. I am going to be ordering. Really grateful for the ideas.

For anyone considering the garden on a roll/preselected borders, you might want to consider signing up to the mailing lists for the big online suppliers like Thompson & Morgan. They quite often have flash sales of packages like 30 mixed plants for £9.99 to clear excess stock. So you could get the same plants that cost £75 in a predesigned set for a tenner. They come with info on how tall they will grow and how far they will spread so it really takes no knowledge and no time to work out a planting plan with enough space for them to grow.

In that case you're into Arts and Crafts, Gertrude Jekyll - so you have a wide variety of options open to you.

@ChetChet I love the garden on a roll. It looks great!
