Any ideas on what to do with this corner?

My landlord recently removed a huge leilandi from the corner of my garden and it has exposed a corner of rubble and brambles, although the remaining tree is quite nice. Any ideas on what I could do with it to make it a bit less obvious that a tree is missing. Needs to be quite inexpensive as it's a private rent and I'm not the best gardener.

It is on a bit of a slope but not sure whether it would be best to try and clear the lot or whether I could work the remaining tree into the solution, although it would need time to grow into the space.

Could you post a picture and say which direction it faces? Thanks.

Sorry, I had taken them and forgot to post them 🙄 no idea which way it faces but is sunny most of the day

It's lovely and sunny.
I would grow something such as a fast growing clematis up the wall.
On the ground you could grow fruit and vegetables as it's sunny and protected.
Perhaps a small cherry or apple tree in a large pot, then you could take it with you if you moved.

Thank you, have fancied a veg patch after leaving mine at my last house but nowhere to put it until now.
