Manure to compost ratio?

I collected a bag of manure and compost from a city farm today. I assume the manure could a mix of various animals- duck, chicken, cow, donkey, goat??? Should I just mix a bit in with the compost and if so, what percentage do I mix in?

I know which chicken manure my dad made a 'tea' and used the water on the crops, but no idea what to do in this case?

I do no dig gardening (ish). I’d spread it on the top of your soil and let the worms work it down. Same with the compost. No need to mix, either is good for the soil.

Is the manure well rotted? At least a year old? If not then it’s best to leave it for a year as it will smell and burn the roots.

@peajotter- good points. Its to go in pots on a roof terrace, so although there are a few worms, there isn't the amount in the open ground.

Other than a little bit of straw, the manure doesn't look like any particular animals poo! Possibly donkey, but nothing really discernible. It also didn't smell at all, so I'm hoping it has already be seasoned. I shall check the farm though to be sure.

@Elouera I bought compost and manure yesterday and it reminded me about your question. The back of the manure bag said one part manure to five parts compost.

@LadyFeliciaMontague- Thanks for that. I've always just guessed what amounts to add! Good to know.
