Getting rid of muscari bulbs

Hello,

I've got some borders with roses in that also have muscari bulbs. What is the best way to get rid of them? Every year they multiply.

I was thinking of putting some sort of membrane down and then covering with mulch in a way to suppress weed and hopefully the bulbs. Any ideas?

They look ok when flowering but very messy once they've gone over.

Any ideas welcome, I'm a novice.

As they’re bulbs the best way is to dig them up. Little bublets May remain, so you might have to repeat as you see them next year.

Yeh, I've been trying to dig them up for the last few years but some are tiny and it seems if you move them or disturb them they multiple.
These seem particularly invasive.

I suppose you could weedkill them when the leaves first come up.
I haven't tried that but have so many bluebells appearing in the flowerbeds (already have them throughout the shrubs, and long grass) that I might do that.

Why would you want to? They're beautiful.

If you have to then just dig out a few each year to reduce them.
