I bought some plants from my neighbour, apparently he's been growing them in his attic all this time and I didn't even know about it. Not sure what they are though, I think he said they are from Colombia or something.

I hate not being able to shop about - lobelia from here, calabroachia from there, compost from somewhere, a pot from somewhere else! I popped into town a couple of weeks ago for trellis something essential and Morrisons had just got their bedding plants in so I grabbed a load for me and mum - petunia, lobelia, geraniums and viola. Fab prices and always lovely quality. I got 2 huge bags of compost from B&Q click and collect. Nurturing my new plants is the only thing I can focus on. They're seeing me through

Ordered some from J Parker’s and Thompson and Morgan, bought one in Waitrose and a few from B and Q

Loads on line. The horticultural trades association have a website which shows local suppliers who will deliver.
Nextdoor sometimes has info about local suppliers.
Sutton's, Thompson and Morgan, RHS, have plants on line.
I'm in east Anglia and Roy's have some packs. Quite a of veg plants and some flowers. Petunias, Lobelia, ageretum, marigolds.
Don't forget summer bulbs.

Ps. I couldn't get any willow trellis anywhere for my passionflowers/ clematis but I bought this instead from Aldi and it's fabulous. Much cheaper and you can cut it with scissors. Bound to last much longer than willow trellis too. It looks brilliant Smile

Morrison’s and Lidl have plants if you can do your shop at either of these.

I also buy plants from groupon, they often have good offers on shrubs and trees.

livingthegoodlife · 03/05/2020 19:50

I bought from Sutton's online - excellent. Also from vanmeuwan - not so great.

gamerchick · 03/05/2020 19:52

B&as open. Although I'd go at around 7.10am.

onalongsabbatical · 03/05/2020 19:57

I've bought online from Hayloft this year and Thompson and Morgan and Gardening Express other years, all good.

TheScottishPlay · 03/05/2020 19:59

Lots of garden centres are delivering. Check if your local one is on FB. The one nearest us has been fab. Lots of offers to clear stock too.

DartmoorChef · 03/05/2020 20:00

Waitrose have a great selection at 1.50 each, lidl arent too bad

HardAsSnails · 03/05/2020 20:00

I've bought pond plants for a new pond from Puddleplants (very impressed), have a Crocus order due imminently and have bought all sorts from random ebay sellers. Not had a dud yet.

TwigTheWonderKid · 03/05/2020 20:10

I have bought from my local garden centre, Primrose, and them some specialist heuchera and clematis nurseries.

cookingmywaythroughlockdown · 03/05/2020 20:17

Waitrose, Aldi and M and S in person
David Austin and other places online.

LesleysChestnutBob · 03/05/2020 20:22

Ordered from a cheap website online which I'm regretting as they should have been here two weeks ago. Have emailed a local nursery who are delivering to find out what they have and how much. Shopping local. I found BNM plant quality much better than Morrisons

jcurve · 03/05/2020 20:26

I ordered quite a lot of perennials and shrubs a month ago from Grasslands Nursery and so far everything has done very well. Quick delivery too.

At the risk of upsetting posters on another thread running at the moment, about newly formed road WhatsApp groups Wink , everyone in our road is sharing plants at the moment Smile

I've been really pleased with Gardens4you - plants in good condition when they arrive and good customer service. I find the paperwork with info about the plants really helpful too.

I had a look at @PlantSavers but the packs aren’t split into shade/sun so you could end up with a bunch of plants that have no hope of survival. Too much of a risk to take, especially where we are in London where you are more likely to have shaded areas due to the tall houses.
