I have an Aloe Vera Plant, a Spider Plant & a Money Tree plant. The Aloe Vera one usually sits in the kitchen window sill, watered every now & then, gets plenty of sunlight, some of the ‘stems’ are looking yellow-y especially the ones near the window. I’m not sure why this is?

Spider plant is in the bathroom, seems to be doing well, again on the window sill, watered every now & then.

Money one in the living room. Just the natural light that comes through into the room, not so much direct. Not watered as much. Seems to be ok.

Do they seem to be in the right place? Maybe with it being so sunny lately the Aloe one was getting too much direct sunlight?

The aloe vera leaves nearest the window pane might have got a bit chilly - we have had some cold nights over the last few weeks. Or it could be a little bit of sun scorch.

Apart from that, if they are happy and growing, then carry on doing what you're doing Smile

I have a dracena fragrans and ficus elastica both in my south facing window normally. The sun seems to have bleached part of the leaves of the dracena and the bottom two leaves of the ficus are drooping, so I move them away during the brightest part of the day, but keep them there in the morning and evening.

Thank you for your replies, may move the Aloe Vera just to see if it stops the yellowing of the stems.
