I quite fancy getting one for DS3 as we've just got a garden.

Could anyone recommend one please?

Hi OP, the only one I've heard of is Mud & Bloom, I know a couple of people who've used them and enjoyed it. My DC are still a bit young, a bag of compost from Poundland and some cheap bulbs keep them happy enough!!

I looked at them as I really like the idea but decided against them. There seemed to be a lot of filler and not as much gardening stuff particularly in winter. Spending money on some seeds or bulbs and possibly one of the other craft-based subscription boxes might be better value. I’m getting my daughter a little raised bed this year and letting her pick some flower seeds and vegetables to grow and hopefully be responsible for. I thought she’d get more from that than the boxes.

We loved Mud andBloom as they make it so much more exciting to the children (and me and we already love gardening and nature ) - I really loved it.

How about rspb membership? Kids get a quarterly magazine with lots of outdoor nature and gardening things to do.
