Hi gardeners! Has anyone used this? I heard on our local radio gardening prog that it's particularly good for poorly pear trees! I was sold some Fungus Clear Ultra to get rid of pear rust but reluctant to use it as have a young child. So i want to take it back and try a plant invigorator instead. Any advice much welcome. Thanks Smile

What is the tree's planting situation? Is it a new tree?

@NotMaryWhitehouse.. Thank you for replying. Yes it's only a couple of years old. It's planted in clay soil. It just doesn't seem to be growing very much. Maybe it's a slow grower. It also has rust. The garden centre assured me it would be fine in our soil.

Could it be a bit waterlogged? I have heavy clay soil and cannot get around my garden at all at the moment- the lawn is so, so soggy and more rain forecast this week. 🙄

There is an article on the RHS website you might find interesting:

@NotMaryWhitehouse.. Ours is the same at the moment. The bottom is like a bog. I expect the couple who live in the house opposite who are south-facing look at us poor people and laugh! I was told the tree wouldn't mind heavy clay. Seeing as it cost £40 I'm not impressed Hmm
