Screening trees - fast growing but not too big?!

Ideally I’d like something that grows really fast, to about 4m and then stops. So like eucalyptus or leylandii but self limiting. Ideally evergreen.
What’s the closest I might get?! Grin

I’ve spent forever googling and not really got anywhere.

I’m not sure wher you want to put them, but Laurel grows in a tree like habit. I have them on my boundaries, they grow quickly and I have to prune them back twice a year.
Easily up to 4m, once established and easy to prune.

Do you actually want evergreen or do you mean something that screens year round? Beech for instance holds its leaves until the next season when used as a hedge. But if not trimmed would eventually turn into a tree, which would drop its leaves.
