Rose for shade - north facing front garden

Has anyone got any suggestions for a rose that would cope well in shade? Id like to plant a bare root one in my new house this autumn. It has a small front garden that is overshadowed by the front of the house so I’m not sure if I’m being unrealistic? Thanks.

@MereDintofPandiculation...Thank you. It hasn't long been planted and i thought i'd watered it in well but maybe it's just not enough. It's a climber against a fence and is in heavy clay but with compost dug in to the hole

in heavy clay but with compost dug in to the hole opinions are changing about whether this is a good thing. It's possible to end up with a compost filled cavity which will fill up with water. Secondly, the roots me simply stay int he compost area and not venture further out.

@MereDintofPandiculation.. That's exactly what happened when we planted our pear tree. We ended up with a sink hole full of compost and water! The ground is so hard though because of the heavy clay so i'm amazed any roots can grow through it. It takes some real heavy-weights to make it!
