Best thing I've ever planted. So much taller than I expected as well.

The bees are busy with it now, although they're probably fed up with me chatting to them. Hopefully the goldfinches will arrive in the autumn.

Self seed you say . At this rate I'll singlehandedly save the bee population.

Never saw any goldfinches though. The seeds appear to have been picked out but I've not seen a bird on them.

Teasels are not preferred slug food.

I had a teasel last year. This year I had a gazillion seedlings. I have uprooted them. Too much!
