Spacing miniature climbing roses - picture!

Hoping someone can help as google is giving mixed responses... I have two miniature climbing roses all about 3ft tall, the 'nice day' variety. I've put up a trellis and planted one today, but was wondering if I could plant a second beside it with about a ft in between so they're both eventually trained over the trellis?

It's a raised part of the garden, just over a ft in depth, free draining soil. Sheltered, sunny til 5. Clueless but eager to learn! Grin

If it's 3ft tall, it will be at least 18 inches spread and quite possibly 3ft spread. That trellis is too small to put two roses up, in a couple of years time you'll find yourself having to bundle the stems up too closely together, some of the flowers won't be seen as they're two crowded together, and any pruning will be difficult.
