Do you remove or leave? Have some appearing on a trailing fuchsia but never seen them before!

If you remove the dead blooms, preferably before they turn into seed pods, your fuchsia will flower for longer.

Once they've turned into berries, the fuchsia has put all the energy it's going to into them, so no point in removing.

They're not just edible, they're actually quite pleasant.

Thanks , is there anything to be gained by removing them? Still a few flowers but have produced these in last day or so.

mere are they all pleasant or do you have to get a specific variety? All the ones I have tried have been pleasant. I've only eaten them as an occasional nibble, not as a whole bowlful.

LIZS I don't think there's any point removing them (except to eat) - I don't think they'll inhibit new flowers (though I may be wrong), and they won't now be diverting any energy from the plant - to avoid energy going into fruits instead of flowers, you need to remove the fruits before they start to grow.
