Floppy non-flowering hellebore

I inherited this hellebore and it has never flowered. Was previously planted in direct sun of a south facing garden. Never flowered in 3 years. Transported to new home in a pot - was pot bound for about a month. Moved it into this partially shaded spot a few weeks ago, dug in lots of well rotted homemade compost beforehand.
Now it's gone all droopy. Is it meant to look like this? And how can I get it to flower next year?

Young Hellebores can take up to 4 years to flower, so hopefully you’ll get flowers next spring.

Does it need a good drink? For the droopiness not the flowering!

Hellebores like to be in a shady spot. When September arrives, prune all the leaves to about 3", and they should flower ready for Christmas. I suspect it hasn't been happy in a south facing spot. Have you watered it recently? Mine flowered the first year.

It's fairly normal for the leaves to look like this if they weren't pruned at the back end last year. But still water it.

Thanks for all the advice!
Yes I do think it was unhappy in the south facing garden and too exposed.
Our current garden is new to me and may be sunnier than I'd thought but there are some trees nearby that should provide shade at least part of the day...
I do water it! Honest! But probably could do with a water now you mention it...

Mine looks like that now but had a huge amount of flowers at the start of this year. I'm just going to cut it back now and hope for the best.

Maybe try rainwater and or feed it though it look miles better than my Christmas one did ! I didn't realise they take 4 years to flower.
