Muehlenbeckia

I'm fairly new to houseplants and trying my best to not kill them this time around! However I bought this Muehlenbeckia in the reduced section mainly for the pot but is there any chance I can revive it? It's pretty crispy and the leaves are falling off. Should I cut it back?
I've been keeping the soil moist and placed it near the window. Shall I keep trying or write it off?

Yes I'd cut it right back. Also ensure that it's not left standing in water, though keep it watered obviously. And talk to it lovingly (no idea if it works but it costs nothing and some think it's effective!).

Thanks for replying. How much should I leave? I've never cut a plant back before 🙈

As a rule cut off anything that looks crispy and dead. If that means everything down to the soil level, so be it. Avoid cutting off anything with new leaves on. If it still has life then it will send up new shoots. If not, sadly it becomes compost!

Thanks! I'll give it a trim and see what happens 😊
