Chillies & peppers are climbing out of the propagator, have been away this weekend so I haven’t had time to do much so potting on will be a job for tomorrow night. My first aubergine seedling has popped up as well, so exciting! I popped to the plot yesterday morning before we went, all was in order, put bricks along the side of the cloche over the lettuces, fingers crossed it’s still there! Bit worried about wind damage to the broad beans though.

Poly tunnels flying sounds very dramatic! Hope it’s all ok!

Hope all is ok at the allotment now @Catrescue1971! I'll probably spend the afternoon picking up plant pots from all over the garden...

Our pea shoots have started sprouting. DTS2 is enormously excited!

Glad your DD got back safely @GnomeDePlume. What a scary thing to go through!

I went down to my plot yesterday morning to see how much of my weed control fabric I'd lost. None, as it turned out, but from the state of it, I think I got there just in time. I just had to retrieve the wheeled trug from along the fence at the end. At least one poly tunnel on the site took off, though.

I stopped at the Allotment Society shop and bought as many bags of manure as I could with the money I had on me, and used them to provide extra weight. That was fun pinning everything down in howling wind and rain.

dh insisted it would be ok In that case I think he should be doing the repair and re-eraction while you get on with what you'd planned Grin
