Non toxic plant suggestions

For a child and pet friendly garden please!

Redoing the back garden, it’s mostly fruit - blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and some fruit trees which are all safe if chewed.

Chamomile lawn.

But I’m a bit stuck on flowers.
I know I want cornflowers and viola which are both edible and non toxic but any more suggestions?

I want a riot of vibrant colour for as long as possible ideally.

I initially wanted a mix of cornflowers, Viola, poppies, buttercups and other wildflowers but field poppy and buttercups are poisonous apparently.

Lavender for summer blooms? Also other flowering herbs: rosemary, chives, sage, salvias (not edible but I think non toxic).

Not for flowers, but grasses can add to sensory interest, eg Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hameln' (Chinese fountain grass).

Plants I have avoided as I have a cat who is a chewer: tulips, daffodils, snowdrops, crocus, mainly anything with bulbs; foxgloves; lilies.

Nasturtium - flowers and leaves edible, and available in everything from cream to lurid salmon pink, via the usual reds, oranges and yellows.

I’ve got ox eye daisies in my garden, they grow tall, cope with being squashed and rolled on well ( got foxes and cubs) and are non-toxic.
Thornless roses, marigolds, geraniums, hollyhocks now.
In spring, I have primroses violets and cowslips.

Another vote for herbs - rosemary has nice flowers and sage is really fab and flowers for ages. We have a purple one and a deep red one (mexican sage maybe?). They carry on into early autumn which is great.

Nasturtiums are brilliant and easy to grow, though caterpillars love them. Campanulas are nice and come back year after year. Borage is really pretty.

I have chewy cats and have in my garden:
Philadelphus
Wallflowers
Geum
Astrantia
Phlox
Jacobs Ladder
Sweet Williams
Jasmine
Roses
Valerian
Lavender
Daisies
Matthiola
Hesperis
Marigolds
I also have lots of Euphorbia which has nasty sap so best avoid with young kids maybe.
