It's getting a bit big now but not sure if all the frost is done for the year!

Depends what it is.

Morning glory! It's almost 30cm tall.

I hope so Smile. I know there's still a risk of frost but I've just planted four coboea scandens, 2ft tall with tendrils trying to grab onto everything. They look much happier in the ground with proper support.
Very sheltered south facing garden so I think they'll be OK.

Morning glory (Ipomaea) is very cold-sensitive, so I wouldn't risk it outside yet. I had it self-seeding in my garden for years, and the seeds only germinated in mid summer when it was hot, then grew like crazy until cold weather arrived in October.

It's in a very sheltered corner - I've put it out now, I do have some more younger seedlings inside that can serve as replacements if necessary Grin saw @BeerandBiscuits post, planted them, came back and saw @NanTheWiser had posted! Argh. Eh, it's done now...

Hopefully they'll be fine, just be prepared to protect them if the nights get a bit cold.

Knittedfairies · 25/04/2019 12:07

Yes, cover them up at night if it's chilly.

SneakyGremlins · 25/04/2019 12:08

Oh definitely! Thankyou Smile
