Plants ready for outdoors?

I recently bought a lemon and an orange tree in pots. Kept them indoors until it got a bit warmer and then put them on the patio. It then got colder so I brought indoors again. In the meantime the three hibiscus and a magnolia I ordered arrived. The nights here (Bucks) are getting cooler again so I have been reluctant to put any outside but it's getting a little crowded in my living room Smile

Does anyone know which, if any are safe to be put outside, bearing in mind BBC Weather say it's going down to -3 here overnight? None of them were cheap so don't want to put them out only to die.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

None of them to be safe.

Most magnolias would be fine , but it would need hardened off first. Which one is it ? ( I mean it’s full name, from the label ).

Where are the tender plants going to spend next winter ?

Thank you for confirming, it's as I feared.. The magnolia is this one: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075TK64VQ/ref=pe_3187911_189395841_TE_3p_dp_1?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

In the winter I move tender plants to my spare room which is north facing but has sufficient light for over wintering. Access to my rear garden (south facing) is through patio doors in my living room, which is why they are currently in here. I should probably not have ordered until May, but my enthusiasm got the better of me.

Thanks again, will wait until the overnight temperature improves somewhat.
