Title says it all really. What can I do to get rid of the mould without killing the plant?

what kind of mould? white and dry? or grey and hairy? or green and slimy???

Grey and hairy. I was considering using fungicide on the stuff, but worried about whether it might kill the plant as well. It's part of DS3's new science kit so I'd prefer to keep it alive, but not festering.

The best way to deal with most moulds is to make them unhappy so they go away - killing them works temporarily but doesn't stop them coming back. Grey and hairy is probably botrytis (sorry about spelling, something like that). It needs less water and more air. Chop off the worst bits, put it somewhere sunny and windy and let it dry out a bit and it might be OK

Thanks - I'll give that a go. Unfortunately the conditions that bring the plant out of its dormant shrivelled state are the ones mould loves - aargh!
