Growing lemon trees from seed

I have a small lemon 'tree' from a seed I planted last summer. I have been feeding it all summer and it's growing well, but it's still in the same pot and the soil is looking tired. Shall I repot it into special citrus compost now before the winter? Thanks

plan to repot in the spring when the tree is gearing up for new growth. When it is actively in its growth phase, it will establish more quickly in a new place.

Make sure the pot is wide, as lemon trees have roots close to the surface and need room to spread.

Is it indoor or outdoor. If it’s indoor repot any time but if it’s outdoor leave until spring. We’ve got three lemon trees from seed (seeing which one is strongest to keep) indoors which were sown by hand sometime around June and we have them in citrus compost but they are barely 3 inches tall and would die outside over winter so if yours are small I’d bring it in as it won’t survive the frost and cold.
