I'm looking for some advice on my cherry tomato plant. I'm not a natural gardener at all, but my children got one of those growing kits from Lidl and we duly planted it. Its now enormous, no tomatoes though and no flowering. I'm not sure if I should do something with it, are there any tomato growers who could give me some advice?

OP, you start the seeds in pots, and then pot on and eventually plant out when there's no chance of frost. don't keep using the same spot as disease will build up and you'll deplete the soil of tomatoey nutrients.

Oh, I’d have kept it indoors, they do really well, and put in a larger pot, and started to feed too.
We have some LIdl seeds, corgette and cucumber, dont think we planted the tomatoes, but bought plants instead for our small walk-in Wilkinson greenhouse .
We have our tomatoes in growbags, not again though, they’ve need a massive Mmount of watering, some water wasn’t gettsing where it should, and I think huge pots will be used next year.
We have Alicante, Shirley, Big Boy and Black Cherry varieties. The Shirley looks the most prolific, the Black Cherry is. Very dark skinned Cherry, they are lovely but not so many, the Big Boy, should have huge tomatoes, but two were mouldy inside, so its a bit disapointing.

Don’t give up, and good luck ! My mum has some indoors and outdoors. ,
