I lot of my flowers are dying off in this heat. I have two cats to complicate things. Im on sick leave and i like to sit and read a book. I feel sad that its just so hot my flowers seem to be dying. My sunflowers didnt stand a chance. Any thing worth picking up in the supermarkets? I have three lovely planters attached to my rails and i can probably refill them.

Apparently they are no good for cats. Im beginning to wonder why we arent seeing loads of cats collapsing in peoples gardens, the list of flowers that arent suitable is endless.

Ive got a big blue planter on my balcony on the right of the picture i took the dead plants out todat. Theres afew bulbs coming up i have no idea what they will be but ive ordered some plugs for now freesias, pansys, petunias and some stocks. I'll see how i get on. I just wish i was more mobile.

That sounds like a plan. Do fuchsias grow back the next year? Ive done abit of weeding and stuff today and I can crack on tomorrow as my soil and water crystals came. I got some feed and stuff.
